One clean, when you need it
A standard clean suits a home that's reasonably kept and needs a proper reset. People book one when:
- Guests are arriving, or have just left
- Work or family has taken over the calendar for a few weeks
- The house needs to look its best for photos or a showing
- They'd like to see how we work before choosing a regular schedule
- They're arranging a clean for a parent or relative
What a standard clean includes
This is the list every standard visit follows, whether it's a one-time clean or part of a schedule. Extras like the inside of the oven or refrigerator can be added to any clean.
Kitchen
- Counters and backsplash wiped and dried
- Sink scrubbed, faucet and fixtures polished
- Stovetop and range hood exterior degreased
- Appliance fronts wiped, inside the microwave cleaned
- Table and chairs wiped
- Floor vacuumed and mopped
- Trash emptied and liner replaced
Bathrooms
- Toilet cleaned inside, outside and around the base
- Tub and shower scrubbed, glass and fixtures polished
- Sink, counter and faucet cleaned
- Mirrors cleaned streak-free
- Floor vacuumed and mopped
- Towels straightened, trash emptied
Bedrooms and living areas
- Reachable surfaces dusted: furniture, shelves, lamps, frames

Is a standard clean enough?
For a home that's cleaned regularly, usually yes. If it's been a while since the last professional clean, or you'd like baseboards, door frames, window sills and grout done by hand, a deep clean is the better place to start.

- The number of bedrooms and bathrooms, and the approximate size of the home
- Its current condition, since build-up takes longer to clear
- Any extras you add, such as the inside of the oven or refrigerator
- Whether it's a single visit or the start of a regular schedule

Is a one-time clean different from a recurring visit?
It follows the same standard list. The difference is scheduling: a one-time clean is booked on its own, while a recurring plan keeps a regular spot for your home.
Can I add extras to a one-time clean?
Yes. The inside of the oven, the inside of the refrigerator, interior windows and laundry can be added to any clean and are quoted separately.
Should I tidy up before you arrive?
There's no need to clean first. Picking up clothes, toys and paperwork helps, because the time then goes to cleaning surfaces rather than moving things.
